What did you enjoy most about your trip?

Trekking in Switzerland

Our trip in the Swiss Alps visits the Bernese Oberland, best known for its famous giants - the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. We begin the trip in the traditional alpine village of Kandersteg which as far back as the 1300's was an overnight stop for spice traders heading across high passes between Switzerland and Italy. Snowcapped peaks, glaciers, traditional wooden chalets, alpine roses, eidelweis, ibex, eagles, chamois and marmots all belong in this most picturesque of landscapes. Our UIAGM guide comes from one of the traditional Kandersteg guiding families.
